Widowhanzo and Cassombra have a conversation about their respective children which leads to Cole and Hanzo arguing and Sombra and Widowmaker bonding while watching the argument.
Hanzo: She's manipulative.
Cassidy: Well, maybe she wouldn't have to act manipulative, if your boy wasn't a world class a-hole!
Hanzo: Guillaume operates off of a clear outline of moral boundaries. Meanwhile, it's clear you've doted upon Ana-Soledad and allowed her to run wild!
Cassidy: Your boy is a case study in why kids need room to screw up so they don't become complete world class a-holes!
--Meanwhile, literally 15 feet away--
Widowmaker: ...and where's he taking her now?
Sombra, with several hacking windows open: *soft gasp* Awwww! There's a Dario Argento movie marathon at the old cineplex! He got the tickets and she got the popcorn!
Widowmaker: Dario Argento?
Sombra: You're telling me you haven't seen the original 'Suspiria?' You????
Here to admit my truth that I love Hanzo x Widowmaker from Overwatch and I have since I first played years ago, it hasn’t changed at all lol, I’m locked in on Widowhanzo

ok from what im seeing. widow’s domme potential with hanzo (a broken down and weary man) is immense
went down the widow/hanzo rabbit hole and honestly they wld get each other. both killed family member and feel regret about it. They would totally balance out in that Widow was brainwashed into killing Gérard but he’s truly dead, Hanzo killed Genji out of his own volition but Genji survived. they both visited their graves. they buried a loved one. serving a little bit of hannibal and alana bloom
Ways Hanzo and Widow find best to settle down fussy baby Gyo?
I wouldn't say Gyo was a fussy baby. Gyo was more like one of those babies that's so unsettlingly calm that you end up checking in on them every 15 minutes just to make sure they're still breathing? But that being said, he absolutely had his fussy and bratty moments.
>If there's one thing I swear by as a babysitter and literally any parent in an area with at least one tree can tell you: Take your fussy baby outside. Like, there's this natural instinct of the brain to reset itself when the environment changes, and taking a baby outside activates that. If you live in a place with any kind of greenery, that basically forces the baby's brain to recalibrate, and is putting that recalibration in an area that's soothing. So Hanzo and Widow both take Gyo to the watchpoint garden to calm down, and it's actually incredible how much it works.
>Widow and Hanzo absolutely got to debating and they experimented heavily, and it turns out Gyo is more calmed down by French baby talk than Japanese baby talk. It was absolutely arbitrary and there are definitely some Japanese phrases that calm Gyo down more than French phrases, Hanzo still feels a little betrayed by this to this day.
>God Widow has the softest most soothing humming in the world. She probably could have made a fortune hosting some kind of ASMR podcast of just humming, but no, she reserves it just for Gyo.
>Hanzo has this big repair kit full of all kinds of replacement parts and repair doodads for if his bow gets damaged or he needs to construct particular arrows. It turns out shaking this case produces a sound that's... weirdly stimulating and soothing for babies to the point where it distracts them out of crying. Even though Widow and Hanzo have a strict, "No weapons literally anywhere near the baby" statute, Hanzo has sprinted out of the room to grab his repair kit to shake it.
>Hanzo's been keeping journals for several years now. At first they started because Hanzo's mental health issues were getting so severe, they were affecting his perception of time, so it was his way of keeping a decent grasp on things, but now he's kind of tracking his own growth, learning to forgive himself, learning to keep trying. And like... it's nice to have a record of that. Sometimes when he's on the bed filling out an entry, he'll have Gyo next to him. It's mutually calming--Hanzo, scratching out this note in a journal, and Gyo, staring up at him. Hanzo might occasionally read out passages to him if he's so inclined.
