I hate how people say that Visenya always felt left out with Aegon and Rhaenys, since he only married her for duty and not love...
Honestly that's the stupidest thing someone could ever say... Also one of the reason I'm firmly against HBO making a conquest show, the conquerors are mysterious charachters and there's little details/infos about them, mostly rumors... and I just know that they will ruin their dynamic...just like they're ruining Daemon and Rhaenyra's now...
Visenya loved Aegon? Obviously, he was her little brother, was she in love with him? I doubt it, even if she did, a woman warrior like herself wouldn't pine over a man, certainly not her brother-husband who is also her little sister's lover.
Aegon and Visenya married for duty, and Aegon and Rhaenys married for love, yes that is the most we know at best of their relationships.
Aegon surely loved Visenya as a sister, companion and heeded her council, she was a skilled warrior.
I personally think that Visneya only married him for duty, as the oldest daughter of the lord of dragonstone, it was her duty to marry her brother so that they can rule their home, in another life. Rhaenys would have surely married one of their velaryon cousins...
I think they were the closest of friends, and while aegon did indeed spend his nights with Rhaenys more, that is to be expected if the love between him and his older sister was more platonic.
