Episode Review: Gen V - S2, E8
Ep 8: Trojan How in the world did Sister Sage end up with Goldolkin? The sex scene in the previous episode makes so much sense if she knew that Goldolkin was controlling Doug, but how did she figure that out? I know that she can see all possibilities and is uber smart, but … still - how.
Goldolkin holds a seminar where he wants the students to come and then he’s going to kill them if they aren’t worthy. Easier to cull the herd when they’re all in the same place. And he’s ‘exercising’ his talents in order to control Marie and finally Homelander all in the sake supe-supremacy.
I do appreciate Homelander calling Sage though, since she was adamant that they introduce him in a specific way. Clearly Goldolkin is not the brilliant strategist Sage thought he was, instead he has delusions of grandeur.
Omg, they had a plan. Marie walked in, but then the guy that can have people inside him, brings in so many people! In his butt. LOL They battle and save some classmates, but then Marie stares Goldolkin down and then he takes her over - didn’t they talk about that? Why didn’t they have a plan? (Goldolkin can’t keep this up because his body is failing as he controls more and more people.). Thank goodness that once Polarity arrives, Marie doesn’t hesitant to blow Goldolkin up.
I’m glad Marie healed Cate, I do think Cate has changed, learned to have friends and trust and be a good person. Of the bad is that Jordan and Marie may not end up together, booo, but I can see Jordan’s issues.
Nice, a group of people that recognize flickering lights that “something’s coming” - this time it was Starlight. Followed by A-Train. An effective way of connecting the show with the final season of The Boys.
UGHHH YALL DONT GET IT.
