VEGANS AND RAW VEGANS? HELP??
Okay, so, long story short, I am transitioning to raw vegan over Winter Break which means when I come back to school next semester I should be fully raw vegan.
Well, I've been trying to talk to my campus dining services about it to figure out if they will be able to accommodate my needs on campus. I currently have a raw vegan friend/mentor who does not believe that they will be able to fulfill the quantity of fresh organic produce that I will need as well as the quality. There is only one dining hall on campus as well as a world of wings and a Starbucks.
I now have a meeting with the two heads of dining services today to decide if they can accommodate me or if I will be able to receive a refund of my dining money for next semester (the better option) can any raw vegans or very informed vegans help me by telling me a) what foods/ produce I will typically need per day/ per week. b) what I should say to them to get them to understand my needs and whether or not they will be able to meet them.
I really don't believe they will be able to adequately accommodate for me and I just need as much facts and info as I can get to prepare myself for this meeting. I really appreciate any and all help. <3
p.s. I'm allergic to bananas.
Dear everyone who thinks you need milk to prevent osteoporosis...the places with the highest rates of osteoporosis also consume the highest amount of dairy. Bye
Hi everyone. Just so you know, meat and dairy are not nutrients. Omega 3 6 9, B12, protein, and calcium are nutrients...All of which you can get from plant sources. Bye
