Adele's Crustless Almond Butter Apple Cobbler
This is a quick and easy dessert I freestyled one night when I had a sweet tooth. Its ideal for those Of you who hate baking. I'm not Into specifics as far as measurements and what not go. I'm an advocate for putting In as much as you want. With the exception of major taste altering ingredients such as salt, sugar, etc. Ingredients: Apples (2 apples is enough for one serving) Blueberries Organic almond butter Almonds Agave Sea Salt Ground cinnamon Cayenne pepper Coconut oil 1. Fill a saucer with about half an inch of coconut oil. Put in on a medium simmer 2. Dice or slice up your apples 3. Once your oil has a nice little boil going, toss In your sliced apples. 4. While your apples are simmering, chop up your almonds. I like unsalted roasted almonds in mine 5. Head over to your saucer. Mix around your apples a bit. Throw in your agave, cayenne and cinnamon. Make sure each apple is coated with the seasoning. 4. Pour your almonds Into a bowl. This is where you add your almond butter. The goal is to create a paste. Mix the almonds and the almond butter together and get a consistency going, making the chopped almonds the "star" (if you will) of the paste. 5. Put about 2 dashes of sea salt into your almond butter mix 6. By this time your apples should be nice and soft and brown. Simmering in your yummy syrup of cayenne, agave and cinnamon 7. Pour In your apples. You may want the apples to cool a bit so that the almond butter mix doesn't melt quickly. But if your hungry now...by all means get down 8. Once the apples are cool, top on your almond butter and then your blueberries Bon appetit my love!
