On November 1, 2022, Petrochem sources reported a fall in triazolone prices in the Delhi market. Debilitated regional demand and inadequate supply have led to the price fall. The current price of triazolone in Delhi went down from Rs.2780/Kg to Rs.2770/Kg, a fall of Rs.10/Kg.

A rise in demand has lifted benzene prices in the Vizag market. Petrochem sources confirmed that benzene prices would be pushed further upwards in the coming days. On October 19, 2022, benzene imported tanker load prices went up from Rs.75/Kg to Rs.76/Kg, an increase of Re.1/Kg.

Petrochem sources reported a significant fall in styrene monomer prices in the Chennai chemical market. It is confirmed that styrene monomer prices fell due to delicate regional demand. With effect from October 19, 2022, styrene monomer imported repack prices in Chennai decreased by Rs.3/Kg. The new introductory basic price is Rs.112/Kg.

A sharp fall in acrylonitrile prices in the imported market of Ahmedabad was recorded today. Weak regional demand coupled with excess supply led to the price fall. On October 19, 2022, acrylonitrile domestic repack prices in Ahmedabad went down from Rs.180/Kg to Rs.175/Kg, a slip of Rs.5/Kg.

Petrochem sources reported a significant fall in tetrachloroethylene prices in the Mumbai market. Prices fell on the back of weak regional demand trends. On October 17, 2022, tetrachloroethylene imported intact prices were at Rs.175/Kg, a cut of Rs.5/Kg, from the previous price of Rs.180/Kg.

On October 17, 2022 butadiene prices have been reported to be steady in South Korea, South East Asia, Rotterdam due to stable demand patterns in the respective countries. The prices were cited in South Korea at $795/MT (FOB), in SE Asia at $755/MT, in Rotterdam at $1200/MT (FOB), US Gulf Cent 73.5/Pound respectively.

Difenoconazole prices have witnessed a significant fall in the Mumbai market. Prices declined, mainly on account of dull regional buying sentiments. Prices are however expected to maintain a balanced trend going ahead. On October 17, 2022 difenoconazole prices in Mumbai were at Rs.3000/Kg, a decline of Rs.5/Kg, from the previous price of Rs.3005/Kg.

Petrochem sources from Chennai have reported a huge rise in ortho-xylene prices. It is confirmed that ortho-xylene prices in the imported market have increased due to tight product availability. Prices are expected to move further higher in the coming days. On October 17, 2022, ortho-xylene domestic repack prices in Chennai were at Rs.178/Kg, an increase of Rs.10/Kg, from the previous price of Rs.168/Kg.
