Petrochem sources reported a drop in Polybutadiene butadiene rubber grade 1220 pricing in the Delhi market on June 9, 2023. The price drop is the result of weakened regional demand and insufficient supply. In Delhi, the current price of Polybutadiene butadiene rubber grade 1220 has dropped from Rs.154/Kg to Rs.152/Kg, an Rs.2/Kg decrease.

According to industry sources in Delhi's petrochemical sector, the cost of sodium tripolyphosphate has risen due to a supply shortage, leading to increased prices in the global market. It is expected that prices will continue to rise soon. As of June 06, 2023, the imported price of STPP  in Delhi was recorded at Rs. 130/kg, reflecting a price increase of Rs. 2/kg compared to the previous rate of Rs. 128/kg.

Reliable sources in the petrochemical sector have confirmed that the price of Lauric acid has decreased in the Delhi market. The reason for the drop has been linked to weaker regional demand trends, which have resulted in price reductions. On June 02, 2023, Caprolactam (25 kg net sealed bags) prices in Mumbai fell from Rs.146/Kg to Rs.144/Kg, an Rs.2/Kg decrease.

Stearic acid 1843 prices registered a fall in the Mumbai market. Weak regional demand coupled with excess supply led to a price fall. Petrochem sources confirmed that Stearic acid 1843 prices would maintain a balanced trend within the next few days. On June 02, 2023, prices went down from Rs.110/Kg to Rs.108/Kg, a slip of Rs.2/Kg.

According to reliable sources in the petrochemical sector, the price of Absolute Ethyl Alcohol 99.90% has dropped dramatically in the chemical market of Mumbai recently. Strong regional demand for the chemical has been attributed to the decline. It is shown that the Mumbai rates for imported Intact Absolute Ethyl Alcohol 99.90% are Rs.
