I need the people's wisdom on Vampire!Lupin !
I'm still brainstorming my monster AU - once I'm done with The Soul In The Sword I want to write something else centered on Lupin and Jigen, and I haven't made a decision yet about Lupin's background.
What do you think would be more interesting:
1) The Second and the First are Lupin's vampiric sire and grand-sire, but they're not related. Each Lupin finds a promising young thief to be his heir and his apprentice, turning him and giving him the Lupin name and legacy to carry. Lupin the Third was not born a Lupin (and neither was The Second), he was given that name later in life.
2) The Second and the First are Lupin's sire and grand-sire, AND his biological father and grandfather. Each Lupin chooses an heir among the family's new (human!) generation, and turns him into a vampire. Lupin the Third was born a Lupin, and destined - possibly from birth - to be eventually turned into a vampire.
3) Secret third option, add in a tag / a reblog / a comment!
In both scenarios, the Second and the First are both dead (probably offed by vampire hunters) and the Third has no intention to take an apprentice or to pass on the legacy.
Vampire Lupin Origin:
1 - The Lupins picked a promising human thief to turn into a vampire
2 - The Lupins picked a kid from their own family turn into a vampire
3 - Secret third option
