C - Control - do they take advantage of their powers?
Answered here!
D - Dangerous - how scary they can get? How bad things can they do? Whatâs their ethics?
Jongdae is not an evil vampire. He doesnât really take advantage of his powers more than itâs needed. He doesnât do evil things, doesnât even attack people for blood - heâs a little sneaky shit whoâll seduce and persuade you to get what he wants, but heâll never force it on you.Â
Heâs aware of having the upper hand, but also believes that it doesnât allow him to abuse this power. Doesnât necessarily go for âpower is a responsibilityâ thing; he just enjoys the way he is.Â
P - Pain - are they sadistic? Do they enjoy what they do?
Kind of! Although he wouldnât hurt you without you consenting to it first, heâs fond of taking as much from you as he can. Heâs gonna be pretty annoying about it, saying stuff like, âbut you wanted thisâ, âis it too much? Oh my, how weakâ.Â
Youâd think he enjoys annoying you more than biting.
T - Turned - how were they turned?
The woman who turned him was similar to him in matters of feeding habits; he took most of his standards after her. He didnât see being a vampire a big deal back when he asked her to turn him, and he doesnât really regret this choice with all the opportunities it gave him. His story is not a tragic one, although he often misses his friends and family, who died long ago.Â

A/N: Im sorry itâs taken such a long time to update and its very short but part 3 will be out tomorrow!
[prologue]Â [part 1]Â [part 2] [part 3]
That was horrifying Jongdae. What the fuck is wrong with you?"
Baekhyun was the first to speak as Jongdae shut the left door of large, wooden twin doors to his room. His fingers were still buttoning together his crisp white shirt and his dark stands of hair were messier than previously.Â
"Watch your mouth, Baekhyun" Jongdae snarled, his eyes piercing Baekhyun till the other looked down.
"Jongdae" minseok, the second in command spoke, gaining the kings attention "aren't you just going to take her blood, like the last one?"Â
"Or did you screw the angel boy too?" Baekhyun added spitefully, prepared as Jongdae turned to his with irritated red eyes again.
"Do you want me to throw you in that room with her? See how she feels about your very presents?" Jongdae scoffed "I can assure you, Baekhyun, chunks of you will be scattered across the room in two minutes"
Baekhyun tutted and looked away, not daring to take another shot at the king.Â
"Whatever. When are you going to kill her?"  Baekhyun looked back to the Jongdae as he heard him sigh.
"I'm not going to"Â
Pushing off on one foot, Jongdae continued down the carpeted corridor, the two other vampires following on his heels quickly.
"What do you mean? Jongdae, you saw what she did to Yixing." Minseok reasoned with Baekhyun chiming in agreements from behind him "He's not weak and if that was her powered in her current state she could really-"Â
Jongdae stopped, letting the two vampires flinch back.
"I saw exactly what she did to Yixing. so why would I kill such a powerful thing?" Jongdae turned to look at them the comfort that their confused and slightly disturbed expressions gave him settled in his stomach making him feel better, more familiar.
" Especially one that's in love with me"Â Jongdae could feel the twist in the air as the two began to understand "she'll do anything I ask her to. After all she believes I'm her soulmate, you know how invested angels get in that crap"Â
Jongdae hummed looking at the two vampires reactions. Baekhyun and Minseok stood slightly stunned at the plan, hesitation flooded Minseok's eyes.Â
"What if...she turns on you? You clearly don't have the same feelings for her-"
Jongdae scoffed, cutting off the older man.
"What do you that all that sweet crap before was about? As long as she thinks this soulmate thing is true, she won't question it"Â
The evil bones in his body were cracking. He felt the same again after, Â familiar and safe with his friend's respectful eyes on him. Separate to the tingling and clouded shyness he felt in the pit of his stomach in the few short minutes alone with the angel. His thoughts had already distractded itâs self with the few images he could pull from the short time. The smooth, silk-like skin under his hands. Innocently pinkned lips that parted for breath. The impossibly red flush over her pale face and the tear stains that formed pink highlights around her dark eyes. The light whisper of his name that rung in his head, almost making anyone's way of saying his name disgusting. He didn't know love, only lust. And lust didn't make his chest ache the same way she did.Â
"Gather together those dying mutts in the cells, it's their lucky last night"
He thought he was done with humans. Last time he had direct contact with one was when he showed his parents what he had become five centuries ago. Ever since heâs became a blood sucker he promised to himself not to get close to any human.
Until you got injured in his territory, until his nostrils filled with your unusual scent⌠he had no other choiceâŚ

Part 2 >
1592 - Joseon Peninsula
Kim Jongdae, he was due to enlist in the army. His father was proud that his son will be defending his country against the Nippon invasion that hit the peninsula of Joseon. His mother however wasnât that happy, especially as she had already lost Jongdaeâs older brother in battle.
âSo what? He died like a man!â
âHe is all we have left, I donât want to lose both my childrenâ
âShut up woman! What do you want people to say? That I raised a coward?â asked his father âand you!â he moved his head to address Jongdae âmove your ass, we are late. Be thankful that I am taking you myselfâ
Jongdae fell on his knees and encircled his arms around his motherâs waist. He was trying not to cry but tears fell nevertheless. His mother stroke his hair gently running her fingers through it.
âI love you my little angel, you come back to me like the hero you areâ she said pulling him up âI know you will. You hear me Dae-yah?â she added embracing him tightly.
And there he was sent almost in the front line, he was basically a human shield like the rest of hundreds of soldiers next to him. He knew he was going to die sooner rather than later. They were in a potential line of fire in an area likely to be attacked by the enemies coming from the north.
Just when he was thinking all this through the arrows started to fall down on them like hailstones, watching from under the metal shield his compatriots falling like insects. He ran, he escaped, and he was lucky that he only received 2 arrows in places that were not life threatening. One on his thigh and the other on his shoulder.
He leaned on a rock after running for hours, he ran and never looked back. He felt like filth leaving all the other men. Real men unlike him coward... But nothing mattered right now. Nothing because as he leaned his head to catch his breath he realised that he was bleeding and he will never even make it out of the woods alive. When the sun sets most probably the wolves will fest on him.
He cried. He tried pulling the arrow out of his leg in vain. It hurt too much and he was still that.
A coward.
He cried and cried, and cried some more until he heard some dried leaves being stepped on. The imminent was nearing, his fate of getting devoured as the sun was setting.
âWhoâs there?â
The sound of the leaves stopping. He tried pulling himself up but his body was too weak. He questioned life choices,  wasnât it better to die in battle instead of like this? Bringing dishonour to his family, dying slowly as wolves raven on his flesh.
He decided that moment to get his dagger and end this agony. He grew a spine and pointed the dagger at his throat, thinking how long and how painful will this be.
He cried again. He bit his lips and thought of what do, because he couldnât even kill himself. He was afraid of pain.
âGood eveningâÂ
Jongdae shot his eyes open at the unexpected calm voice. There was a dashing man standing right in front of him. His skin white like snow and his eyes menacing, nonetheless he was very good looking. He smiled at him before looking at the pool of blood under Jongdae.
âItâs not polite not to answer to greetings young man. Havenât your parents taught you that?â
Jongdae couldnât believe how calm the man was, and his sarcastic tone was uncalled for that moment.
âSo you are a traitor and an unmannered little boyâ
âI- I am sorryâ
âI will forgive you just this time. I take it you are in a lot of pain, am I right?â
âYes. I am, I canât move and...â he pointed at his leg.
âI will take care of that, in fact no need to move. This might just hurt a littleâ the man coed before roughly pulling Jongdae from the scruff of his neck off the ground.
Jongdae screamed without even realising that his feet didnât reach the floor, this man was incredibly strong.
âPut me down!â he cried âmy leg! I canât take the pain!â
âI will put you out of your miseryâ the man said positioning his mouth on the crock of Jongdaeâs neck.
He didnât understand what was happening other than a feeling of incredible pain. It hurt more than his leg and his shoulder. It felt as if his life was slowly slipping away from him. The pain suddenly was vanishing into a numbing feeling. Nothing hurt anymore. Nothing, but it was cold when he felt he collided back on the ground. It was cold and quiet and sorrowful.
His mother came to his mind. His older brother and how he used to carry him on his shoulders when they were young.
âItâs alright Jongdae-yah, we will be together soon. Just close your eyes and relaxâ
His brother spoke to him, and he could of sworn he felt his caresses on his cheeks.
Death wasnât that bad after all.
Death was all he wanted right now.
The image of his brother was fading slowly...
âWait hyung! Hyung! Wait for me donât goâ he pleaded.
âHyung? That was fast, I mean I donât mind you calling me hyung. I am your hyung after all. Just for your information I am Key hyungâ
Jongdae opened his eyes in panic. That wasnât the voice he wanted to hear, that wasnât his brother. That was the man that bit him in the woods.
He looked around and found himself on a big bed inside a room decorated to the highest standards, not matching the poverty the country was going through. The ceilings were high and it was dark and probably cold and humid, but Jongdae felt nothing, not even pain. His last memory was definitely a lot more painful than what he was feeling right now.
He looked around trying to find the man. He heard him but he wasnât anywhere near, or at least that is what he thought.
âWhere am I? What is this place? Am I in hell?â
âHell?â scoffed Key âwhy hell and not heaven? I think you are smart and you know that we are damned from ever entering heaven? is that is pretty boy?â
âWhat? Show yourself!â
âYes my dearâ Key appeared in front of him and his speed caught Jongdae off guard âwe will never see that placeâ
Jongdae got up from the bed running to the window opening the curtain, regretting his action when the sunlight made contact with his skin, it burned, it stung more that the arrows. He closed the curtain and turned to face this man that called himself Key.
âWho are you? What is this place? Where-â Jongdae touched his shoulder and his thigh feeling nothing of the pain he felt previously.
âYou are welcomeâ
âWhat did you do to me? Why is the sun burning my skin?âÂ
The realisation was painful, he didnât want to believe it.
âBe thankful I chose you. You will fit well. A coward and a traitorâ Key smirked âalmost as shameful as me when I was a human. Itâs just perfectâ
Jongdae punched his face and Key flew across the room landing over the wall creating a hole. Dust flying all over. Key laughing frantically.
It drove Jongdae insane.
He couldnât handle it.
âI was this close to be with my brother. Why didnât you let me die?â
âOh honey but you are dead. But damned, and moving. Little differencesâ stated Key dusting himself âbut in the end itâs all the sameâ
âWhy?â
âBecause you will come in handy. I need youâ
Key left Jongdae to assimilate the cruelty of the new circumstances. He remembered when he was made and he understood. He gave him the day to let everything sink in.Â
When the sun set Jongdae started to feel this itch all over his body. Thirst that was uncontrollable, his throat hurt. He pulled his hair out of desperation. He shouted and screamed muffing the sound with the pillow. But Key knew, he knew very well.
âWhatâs wrong little boy?â said Key as he opened the door to Jongdaeâs new room.
âKim Jongdae! That is my nameâ
âCute, you want to keep that human name?â
âThat will always be my name!â
âLetâs discuss names later, shall we pretty boy?â
âLEAVE ME ALONE! CANâT YOU EVEN LEAVE ME ALONE!?â
âI think you are hungry. Listen I will do this for you today because you are new, I donât like animal blood but I have no other choice sometimesâ Key finally placed the big recipient he held on the desk adjacent to where Jongdae sat opening the lid.
And that is when Jongdae felt it for the first time. The desire for blood. His nostrils filled with the stench of the crimson liquid, it was disgusting but nothing more appealing right now. In a second he was holding the recipient to his mouth drinking frantically, soothing the itch. He felt alive and his body healed and strong.
âMore! I want more!â
âThat you will have to do it yourself, I hate going hunting and this is your duty from now on. Feed me and yourself. That is why you are here pretty boyâ
Jongdae didnât want this, he saw his hands full of blood and he felt like an animal. No even worst. He felt like a demon because he didnât die with dignity. This was his punishment.
He pushed Key away and run out of the room trying to find the exit door.
âYou donât need to run, just jump out of any window, you are powerful now unlike humans. Go! Iâm not stopping you. You will see for yourself that now Iâm all youâve gotâ
Jongdae found himself not wanting to use his supernatural powers, he wanted to be able to run at the same speed like he did before. He wanted to feel human.
He wanted to be Kim Jongdae. The one that promised his mother to come back from battle safely.
She was in her usual spot near the fire place.
âEomeoni!â
She lifted her sorrowful gaze to meet her sonâs new eyes. As soon as she was about to get up to embrace him she stopped.
His eyes were bright red, almost as bright as the fire next to her.
âSon?â
âItâs me!âÂ
He came closer but when he touched her she flinched at the cold sensation of his fingertips.
âEomma!â
âGo! Go before your father comesâ
âWhy?â
âHe will kill youâ
âI missed you!â
âGO! I didnât miss you. No! You are not Jongdae. You are one of the blood suckersâ
âEom-â
âGo or I will stab you myselfâ
Jongdae faced a kiss on her forehead and disappeared in the darkness of the night finding himself there again...
âYou are back?â coed Key leaning on the door with a smirk âI told youâ
âI hate you!â
âAt least you get to see her. If you were not a vampire you wouldnât be able toâ
âDo I deserve this? Was I that bad in my life?â
âDonât confuse. I wasnât that bad. But I was chosen because I wasnât that goodâ
âI want to die!â
âCome follow me. I will show you somethingâ
Jongdae had no other choice but to follow him.
For now...
Key walked around the manor giving him access to all rooms except his. He took him to his library where real vampire history books were available, nothing like what humans told about them.
It was a lot worse.
When he was left alone Jongade wanted to cry, but tears didnât come. Just like when he met his mother. However he learned that crying wasnât something completely alien to vampires as he devoured the books.
Tears and other emotions came in certain circumstances.
He took a book and went to find Key who had clearly some company. It was a girl that he had gagged and tied and she was on her knees. Also she was mortified.
âWhat-â
âSheâs... mmm my entertainment for the nightâ he smirked âand... my dinner. Sorry not for sharing little boyâ
âI would ne-â
âYes sure you would never. Listen I am kind of busy. There is the deer I caught for you in the kitchen, itâs hanged and I think by now all the blood drained. Enjoy and you are welcome. Now if youâll excuse meâ Key added closing the door.
Jongdae felt nauseated. Not that he really could but he wanted to believe that he wasnât OK with what was happening...
...And the sounds and cries that followed. This girl wasnât happy. Well of course she wasnât. Who would ever willingly... with a vampire? But the book he held between his hands said otherwise.Â
One particular being would be the one that can make a vampire cry, feel warm and even mortal...
âNoooo please donât. Iâll do anything you want!â the girl cried âplease!â
Silence...
Key killed her.
And Jongdae didnât do anything about it.
He was just as bad.
He was just a blood sucker.
Days passed and Jongdae grew really disgusted. He never tried human blood until one day Key brought a couple. It was strange. Key disappeared with the man and Jongdae was left with this attractive woman alone.
âWhen are you going to suck me dry?â she asked. Her face showing no emotions.
âYou know that you are here for this?â
âYesâ
âArenât you scared?â
âWe are to be sacrificed. This was the deal the town had with your masterâ
âHe isnât my master... and what happens if...â
âHe will kill us allâ
âWho is the man that came with you?â
âThat is my brother, and Key chose him. I guess if you arenât going to feed on me, then he will when heâs done with himâ
Jongdae couldnât believe his ears. Key had mortified a whole city for his own pleasure and gluttony.
He thought of something and he wasnât letting it pass...

âYes ___, but itâs kind of dangerous. I mean all alone? There are snakes and even wolves thereâ

âDonât think itâs worth it? Or donât think I can?â
âWhatever it is, that is no place for a young woman an-â
âAh no no, we are not having this stupid conversation. Goodbye, Iâm taking the train to Seoul tomorrowâ
The problem was that a certain vampire had his nostrils filled with your scent...

A/N: This was just a short intro to the actual story...I hope you show it love.
Thanks for reading ^_~ feed back always welcomed.
This is... weird. But I did my best!
Ah also, the gif has been made by myself from Chenâs pathcode video, but feel free to use it however you want. Just to let you know itâs not stolen.Â
When you start to attending one place long enough, you start to discover that some things always are there, and some, oppositely, appear and disappear without warnings, and probably havenât been there for long enough to memorize them all too well.
Ever since you started using your way to uni, youâve never been too focused on it. The small road surrounded by variety of tenement houses was nothing to hang your eyes on. It felt slightly suffocating, with the narrow sidewalks and cars parked all over, because years ago, when the houses were built, no one considered that parking lots would one day come in handy.
As the time passed, you saw more and more. Some things never changed, like the buildingsâ colors and ornaments, and some always did, like the way the cars stood by the road, or the advertisements pinned to the walls.
But his presence was a thing you couldnât quite put in any of these categories. When you saw him for the first time, he was sitting on a smaller houseâs roof, barely lightened by the moonlight, because the street lamps wouldnât reach this high. But itâs as if you didnât know whether heâs been there all along, or was it just you who never looked up to see him.Â
Next day, you didnât notice him on your way there. But then, when you were going back, you spotted him again. And in a span of week, you confirmed, that he sat there only at night, not doing anything, just staring up at the sky, which â if not the light pollution â would probably be full of stars.Â
In your head, he also became a stable piece of surroundings, and youâd always seek out for him, as if his presence only confirmed that no matter how the world changed, the mysterious man stayed still on his roof, in the place he belonged to.Â
The curiosity of yours never subsided, though. You found yourself making all sorts of stories, as to who the man could be. And one day, you found yourself unwittingly entering the house next to the one he was sat on, and climbing up the empty staircase, until you reached the highest floor and approached the small window that had a view right at the adjacent oneâs roof.
Then, you found yourself leaning against that window, to catch a better look of the lone silhouette. It seemed stunning, he was stunning. The profile of his face that you saw was almost perfect, and you stared at it, trying to get your eyes used to the lack of light. You tried to be as quiet as possible, to not startle him, so when through the slightly ajar window you heard words being spoken, it was you who was startled instead.
âAm I such a beautiful sight to behold?â
You are, you wanted to say, but you only stared forward, as if to make sure it was surely you he was talking to.Â
And then he turned his head, staring directly in your eyes, with the softest smirk curling up the corners of his lips. He looked kind of cat-like, and you held your breath for a moment, just enough for him to chuckle, glancing down.Â
âU-um⌠Sorryâ you mumbled. âIâve been just seeing you here for a while, and grew curious.â
He hummed, sparing you yet another glance.
âWanna join me, then?â
You blinked, surprised.Â
âThe window is too small to get throughâ you said with a breathy laughter.Â
âThereâs the roofâs entry above your head, you need to reach itâ the man answered, his smile unwavering.Â
You glanced up. The entry was there, a square-shaped space that could be easily opened like a normal door. You opened it then, and glanced through the hole that appeared. You had to reach really high to open it though, and even as you jumped, you barely caught onto the holeâs edges, unable to pull yourself upwards.
But then a hand appeared in your sight, catching your wrist and swiftly pulling you through the hole and onto the roof.Â
You stared at each other from up close as you sat down on the roofâs surface. His eyes seemed to pierce holes through you, and for a brief moment, you felt so lost in them you thought youâd drown, having completely forgotten how to breathe. Enchanted.
You coughed awkwardly, letting him pull you up. Then, he walked toward the roofâs edge, and jumped onto the smaller one, the one he was sitting on until then. He did it without much effort, not even making much noise when his feet hit the surface. But you sat on the edge carefully, attempting to slip down as safely as possible. The man only watched as you finally made it there and approached him, sitting next to him nearby the edge.
You felt slightly intimidated by the height, as well as the otherâs presence. In a way, it seemed overwhelming, yet not uncomfortable. And you didnât mind staying like this for however long would it take. You took off your bag and put it behind yourself, leaning backwards to rest your head on it. The lying position was convenient, and you stared up at the night sky, trying not to bother the man with your presence. For some reason, he didnât seem to mind it much, doing exactly the same thing heâd do on any other day, as if whether you were there, didnât matter at all. He seemed so peaceful, so at ease, that you wondered what exactly was the reason for his choice to spend time in such unusual way.
So you moved to the side, glancing up at him, right to catch how he ran his fingers through his hair. And if you were to say something, youâve instantly forgotten the words.
âHow was your day?â he asked, sparing you a glance.
You opened your mouth, a bit startled by such a simple question.
âGood, I suppose. Iâm going back from uni. Thatâs why Iâve been seeing you, I use this road pretty oftenâ you informed him, patting the bag under your head.Â
He nodded slowly.
âDo you know if anyone else has seen me here lately?â
âI dunnoâ you replied truthfully, sitting up to meet his eyesâ level. âAnd itâs not like Iâd just go around telling it people I know, it was more of a⌠private observation.â
He merely smiled at your response.
âGoodâ was all you heard before his fingers suddenly wrapped around your throat, pushing you down onto the roof.Â
The back of your head hit the surface with a force you definitely werenât expecting now, making you see stars other than the ones above you.
His face didnât change even for a brief moment, he only tilted his head to the side, watching silently as you grabbed onto his wrist, trying to pry it off your throat in panic. But he only pressed you down harder, and all your attempts only caused you to tire out fast. The grip loosened ever so slightly once you stopped to struggle, and you only stared up at the man with confusion and fear displayed on your face.
His finger found its way to his lips in a wordless request for you to stay silent, as he moved, hovering above your frame. With his free hand, he reached to your wrist, prying it off his own and raising to his lips.
âW-what do you wantâŚâ you choked out fearfully.Â
âDonât worry about itâ he replied simply. âYou canât leave this place on your own anyway, so donât struggle. It wonât last long.â
âWhat willâŚâ
Before you could finish, his teeth pierced the skin on your wrist. You let out a shriek at the sudden pain, and thrashed around in attempt to get anywhere, away from him, away from whatever he was doing.
But then you discovered that exhaustion started to take over you faster than youâd expect, and that your vision started to blur, and only then has it struck you, that with his lips attached to your hand, he was sucking out your precious blood.
Soon enough, your will to put up any fight disappeared as well, and you laid there numbly, watching as the man finally let go of you, and licked over his lips, a sight just as endearing as it was dangerous. You were too tired to even speak, but when he glanced at you again, taking your chin in his fingers and making you look at him, you found yourself parting your lips, staring at him in your daze.Â
âNow then, [F/n]. Youâre going to forget ever coming here, to this building. All youâll remember is that you were on your way home, when you felt dizzy, and went right to bed after arriving. Got it?â
You nodded feverishly, because it was all you could do, with his eyes trapping yours in a way you couldnât quite wrap your thoughts around just yet.
The man hummed at your response, and his hand moved, stroking your cheek in a gentle, almost comforting manner.
âHope to see you next week too, darling.â
And even though these were the last words you heard from him, when you woke up in your own bed next morning, you remembered none of what was said.
And all you felt was curiosity, slowly pushing you towards your own destruction, over and over again.

B â Bite â how do they bite? Sensually, aggressively? Do they make it hurt or try to be gentle?
Jongdae has a talent of making people give their blood to him willingly. And as such, with no need to overpower them, heâs a true gentleman.
Heâll be gentle, but not overly careful. He knows what he wants and also that what heâs doing is nothing bad; after all, the other person consented to it, knowing what theyâre getting into.
Heâs gonna talk a lot, distracting you, but also making you feel special at that moment. After the deed, heâll thank you with a smile, too.
G â Growl â are they more on the âcivilizedâ side or do they enjoy hunting their prey down?
It would seem as though heâs completely on the civilized side and, in fact, most of the time thatâs the way he is. But, truthfully, he enjoys seducing his prey more than fighting them - so heâs not really 100% innocent. He likes the challenge of making the other person submit to him and itâs no different kind of pleasure than if he was to hunt them down. Although heâs definitely more harmless this way!
M â Murder â would they kill someone while feeding? Have they ever done so?
No. Jongdae doesnât give in to his thirst easily and he also wants himself to be as harmless as possible, to be able to live his life peacefully. Thereâs no reason for him to kill anyone and he doesnât lose control over his hunger. Him feeding off you is probably the safest kind of feeding, because heâs not only careful not to harm you severely, but also doesnât lose himself in the moment, having full control over the situation.

The vampires, spawns of the devivl, parted as if small framed girl who stumbled through the crowd were a disease. The hall was grand; velvet red carpet, pale golden ceiling and oak-brown walls. All suited for the king that sat on the matching oaks and velvet throne.Â
The usual bustling of chatter, murmurs and whispers of evil were all replaced by the stale silence as hundreds of vampire predators watched the the small female. Her bare, cut, bleeding and bruised feet found comfort against the plush red carpet as she stammered forward. Her long brown hair that suited to the myths of soft silk texture messily lay on her shoulders. The most prominent of her features followed behind her. The white feathered wings ,that had created long rips in the back of her matching white dress, were sneered with dirt and crippled in angles that deemed her wings near to broken. She was an angel walking through a coven of vampires, approaching their king.Â
As she approached the small case of stairs leading up to the throne, the king watched her with narrowed dark hawk like eyes, steady on her swaying figure. His chin was prompted on the palm of his hand, his elbow against the throne's armrest.Â
"Jongdae.." From beside the king, the second-in-command murmured his name "What do you want us to do?"Â
Without a glance to the other man, the king simply waved his hand, eyes still focused on the small angle who wobbled up the last steps and stood before him.Â
There was a silence as the injured angel stared at the king, her eyes clouded with different emotions he couldn't distinguish.
His eyes fell down her figure then back up to her eyes before he spoke, his chin still lazily resting in his hand.Â
"Are you here to avenge the last one-" before the king could finish the Angel cut him shortÂ
"You're my soulmate. I escaped heaven to get here"Â
