Overall, being back on stage with all of us together felt very much like home. When you don’t go home for a year because of work or whatever, and you go back, and it still feels like home…it’s that kind of feeling where you don’t need to expect anything. Your body knows that you’re home.

Astarion scrambled into camp, worse for wear, covered in blood. Not all of it was his own, but there was a good portion that was. He huffed at the place that was all but vacated save for the muttering old lich and the scampering pets, as irked as he was grateful that there were few to see his dramatics.

His attention landed with relief upon a companion who had stayed behind whilst Tav and the rest had gone on their next adventure.
