I just read some comments on a post about Canadian Healthcare.Yes, the terrible, infamous FREE healthcare, which, under no circumstances, can be, in any way, ANY GOOD. The comments are, of course, from Americans. I learned that we pay 50% income tax, that the wait times for any medical intervention is: forever, that nobody in Canada ever works, that we are a Communist country, and that Americans either are, or should be, grateful for President Trump.
Even when I ŵas making the infamous six-figure salary, my taxes were nowhere near 50%. The wait times depend on the urgency of your ailment and, to some degree, on where you live. From my experience, broken bones in a place with A LOT of broken bones (a ski resort) were patched in approx. 2 hours... for free 😱 Most people in Canada do work, etc., etc., but all explanations are pointless. The Americans in the comments are falling over themselves to justify WHY they don't have the public healthcare, and why it's a good thing, and why they would never want it, and why they are grateful that the beloved President Trump just made sure that FEWER people ( some 14 millions or so?) will not have it, which is also Good, because free (BUT IT NOT FREE!!!! 50% taxes!!!! on the income! but nobody works!) healthcare is for sissies and Commies!
It looks like a big part of the American Nation loves to be fucked in the ass without lube and is asking for more, as long as it's the Beloved President and a few billionaires doing the fucking. It was like visiting an alternate reality, a very unpleasant one, where everyone is crazy, and a self-appointed expert on that strange planet, Canada.
