Again, tumblr ate the ask, so hey @notsuchasecret enjoy your Goshiki Trick or Treat!Â
Come play Trick or Treat, and Iâll leave you with sweetness and fluff, or darkness and twistiness.
Treat
This time of year always gave Goshiki a thrill. It was just before everything turned frosty, but the dead heat of summer had long faded away. This was the time of year when Goshiki was at his best.
âTsutomu. What happened?â Goshiki blinked up at the voice. It was still incredible to him that Ushijima would speak to him so casually. It was also still incredible that they were together, and that Ushijima had let himself into Goshikiâs apartment with the key heâd given him. All of it brought a dreamy smile to his face.
âWakatoshi! Hi!â Goshiki jumped up from his seat at his coffee table, and ran to give his boyfriend a hug and a kiss, which Ushijima returned with enthusiasm.
âHello to you too. But I repeat. What happened.â Ushijima spun Goshiki around and pointed at the previously abandoned coffee table. Goshiki shrugged.
âA bit of a project, I think. Iâm toying with an idea.â Goshiki grabbed Ushijimaâs hand, and led him to the coffee table. âEvery year, I go above and beyond to bake treats for our friends for the holidays. This year, I thought It would be more fun if they baked the treats themselves.â
Goshiki sat down, and settled comfortably against Ushijima, who sat behind him and held him around the waist, leaning against the couch.
Goshiki knew that Ushijima was watching, knew his own face was growing warm from the attention, but he didnât stop it from happening.
He pulled the next jar closest to himself, and carefully measured out all of the ingredients. Once done, he sealed the jar, and tied some twine round the middle. He attached the recipe card, as well as a note to the person who would be receiving it.
One dozen down, and roughly three dozen more to go. When had his circle of friends grown so large?
Idly, Ushijima tinkered with his phone, then put it down as a soft, soothing, cozy playlist began to sound from the phoneâs speaker. It was one of the best afternoons Goshiki could ever remember having.
When Ushijima stated that he thought it was time to leave, Goshiki quietly asked him to stay. It was the first step. And when Ushijima would open his jar the following morning, to make them pancakes for breakfast, Goshiki hoped this would be the first step towards forever.
