more ppl should be mad on lumis behalf i think

thinking about how i hounded snyder to return my (purportedly) graded essays to me because he spent a year scraping one or two points off 100 but still keeping me in the A range, but never told me what i was doing that warranted not getting full points. after conferences when i confronted him abt it in front of my mom, he said he’d have them ready for me the next day, and almost certainly went home, dug them out of his pile of papers, read them for what im sure was the first time, and graded them, returning a stack of them to me the next day. he had circled half the words i used and written ‘archaic??’ next to them.
