What's so toxic about "not all men are bad?" Or "there are a few good men in this world?" That's just a fact. There's bad everywhere including men/women/any gender/any sexuality/any age/ literally everywhere. There's also good everywhere, that's just how it is. There's no good without bad.

Most men I've met are horrible yes and the same applies for women. It doesn't matter what the gender is. I've been abused by both.

I did not assume you had never been abused by men, I assume everyone has in one way or another, I was more hoping your experiences haven’t been overwhelmingly bad since that’s how your responses come off and I’m sorry to hear I might’ve been wrong. I was genuinely hoping you were a lucky one. 

You’ve completely missed the point of my response though. 

Nobody ever said all men are bad, that there’s no good ones or that all women are safe and good. Did you not read the rest of my answer? I literally said, and I quote, “I don’t hate all men and I adore many of them on here. However, the men I respect understand that when people say “I hate men” we’re not talking about the good guys AND they agree with us.”

And although I never said and will never say or think that all women are safe and good, you can not tell me it’s close to equivalent. Never am I ever scared by female strangers when I’m alone. I’ve received far less than 100 creepy, insanely disrespectful, sexual messages from women online vs. THOUSANDS from men. Rarely have I ever received unsolicited genital pics from women vs. innumerable ones from men. The comparisons could go on and on and statistics back me up. Look them up. 

This conversation is also not about how women can be bad and by switching it to “women are bad, too” you’re missing the point and silencing women speaking up about the injustices we suffer at the hands of men. 

Your argument is also akin to “All Lives Matter” and I shouldn’t have to explain how fucked up that is since the All Lives Matter crowd is not welcome on my blog.
