A handful of my PCs’ minis, from most recent to earliest painted! I’m really proud of the progress I’ve made. But also I just like rambling about my characters, so that is also happening below the cut. 

S. How does your character act when they want to seem threatening?

Zazz acts tough and makes Tough Threatening Comments and gestures. And posturing. He is not very good at seeming threatening- tried it once in the campaign, failed his Intimidation roll, the other party drew a sword on him. 

AA. If they were a ghost, how would they haunt in the afterlife?

Doormat and Larkspur are ghosts...we shall ignore them for this hypothetical!!

Astrophelle would haunt her party, doing what she could to guide them from beyond the grave. Perhaps give them little signs and things. Writing on mirrors (but with a little smiley face to show she is a Chill Ghost!)

With Sivuro, it would partially depend on what season he died in. He’s spring-dominant, which would be less vengeful than, say, summer. Maybe hmmm...he might haunt the area where he died, and try and find people to befriend and complain at about his fate? I dunno. xD 

Ursh would haunt the Dragonsword. I can’t see them doing anything else. It becomes this sentient weapon that insists its name is ‘Urshmek, but also Dragonsword’, and which gives confusing if well-intentioned advice. 

AL. What fairytale/myth suits your character the best?

Maybe Sleeping Beauty for Astrophelle? Where the hero hacks their way through a terrible thorny forest and rescues someone from a sad fate? Not so much the ‘kissing a sleeping person’ part...but she likes general romantic tropes, and is all about saving people with the Power of Love and Friendship, so the general vibes remain!

Sivuro, Astrophelle, Zazz and Ursh! Four of my current and former D&D player characters. The last two are old creations, I think Ursh was actually the first leetle model I made in Reroll.

Sivuro (he/him): eladrin, level 10 Wo4E monk (revised.)

Astrophelle (she/her): protector aasimar, level 6 redemption paladin. 

Zazz (he/him): drow, level 7 arcane trickster rogue.

Larkspur was a levistus tiefling celestial warlock I played in a level twenty one-shot, where we knew from the start our characters would die and it was just a matter of seeing how long we could make them last. She and her allies were pursuing a necromancer who kept sending spooky ghosties and ghoulish critters of all kinds to fight them! Larkspur’s patron was a powerful unicorn called Stargazer, and her pact boon was her ‘book of radiance.’ 

My friendo got me some fun terrain stuffs for my birthday (the ‘army painter battlefields basing set’.) I’ve filled in that gap on the right since taking this photo, and tidied up some other Messy Bits, but otherwise this is my progress on Ursh! Gonna add some leetle plants too, should be nice. 

We’d earlier been fighting the fiend, when he looked directly at Ursh and said “I’ll see you very soon”, before teleporting out and presumably back to his castle. Very tense but exciting! 

The session ended with us discovering that the original owner of Ursh’s magic demon-slaying sword, who we thought died years ago, is still alive. That was a fun cliffhanger to end on! It’s my fave magic item I’ve ever had but if the original owner wants it back after this fight, I won’t complain. It would be a lovely conclusion. 

Our paladin had been downed by a dracolich. My character was back a bit further, hidden behind a building (the encounter took place in a village where everyone had been turned into zombies!) The paladin had been downed in a turn or two, and I didn’t want my character to lose so much health this early in the encounter. After some consideration, I had my character get as close to the dracolich as they could without losing cover, and cast Shield of Faith on the giant weasel, who ran in to retrieve the paladin and drag him back behind cover for healing (weasel took a little damage from an opportunity attack, but was still standing. It helped that the dracolich was distracted by another party member as well.)
