Bilbo with little cookie crumbs on his face and Thorin looking at him adoringly before swiping the crumbs away with his thumb.
the lost sheep and new herder, side by side.
i need people to stop recommending iwtv to heated rivalry fans just because "it's funny to shock them"
please... these are totally different fucking shows.
this is like with fanfiction. you need a slow gradual path from A to G with many stops. you don't just jump straight into the deep end, because you won't know how to fucking behave when met with heavy themes.
i am already seeing people say things like "if they include gabristat i won't watch s3 because why would they want to have incest in their show that's gross." and obviously the cherry picking on which characters are somehow justified in their actions and which are the devil (*cough* it's always armand who is seen as evil personified *cough*) - (that being said, you're obviously allowed to dislike characters for their actions. i just don't think its okay to somehow act like your fav is somehow superior. because what do you mean lestat's trauma excuses his actions, but armand should be executed? )
i don't need more of that.
wouldn’t it be a more sound position to say “being a transfem/masc isn’t based on agab” than to say intersex people should be a special exception to this rule? or is that not what you’re saying
It isn't based on AGAB. It's based on whether or not you identify with the gender imposed on you by society. Unless you are David Reimer there is just not a situation I am aware of in which a perisex person's SIG does not consistently match their AGAB.
Every single perisex person who has told me they are AFAB transfem or AMAB transmasc has literally just told me they want to be a "woman with a male body" bc that's what they think transfem means (woah ew transmisogyny!) Or they want to be "a man with a cunt" bc think thats what transmasc means (woah ew transandrophobia!). There is nothing wrong with these physical transition goals but dear Jesus do not reduce trans people to [gender] with [body part] that is always transphobic.
or that they have alters that are transfem/transmasc when the body isn't (and there are other terms for that which are more accurate).
