I've been playing around with the Miraculous Mentor AU lately, and you know what? I'm tired of pretending Baby Felix isn't here!

In the episode Representation, Felix and Kagami put a play on for Marinette that not only reveals that Felix is a sentimonster created by his father, Colt to help his mother, Amelie, have a child, but that Colt was abusing him.

However, since Amelie wasn’t present in these flashbacks

People assume that this implies that Amelie was completely okay with what Colt was doing to Felix and was just simply enabling it because she didn’t care.

But Felix’s behavior in the show contradicts this. Because if Amelie was enabling Colt’s abuse and just watched it happen, Felix wouldn’t be so protective of Amelie nor would he do all of the stuff that he did in seasons 3-5, because why would he care so much about the person that supposedly enabled his abuse and did nothing to stop it?

Secondly, there’s a part of the play where Colt rips the arm off Felix’s stuffed rabbit. In the season 4 episode Gabriel Agreste, Amelie is shown wearing a white RABBIT mask, which means that the stuffed bunny was probably an indirect depiction of Amelie’s abuse since they couldn't actually show it on screen due to restrictions.

Thirdly, Colt literally literally had the ability to wipe Felix out of existence with just a snap of his finger, so if she actually did to try defend Felix, he would have been screwed either way.

And lastly, it’s shown that unlike Colt, Amelie genuinely loved Felix and was the ONLY one that didn’t mistreat him, which would mean that she probably didn’t agree with how Colt was treating Felix but couldn’t do anything due to Felix being a sentimonster and Colt having ownership of the object that controlled him. So did Amelie not do anything because she didn’t care about Felix, or did she not do anything because she was scared that Colt would kill him?
