#update tab tutorial

IMPORTANT: i would advise that you save you current theme code somewhere (like a notepad document) so that if something does go wrong, you can revert back to your original settings (just git CTRL + A to select the whole code)

Border:

to change the border style and/or colour, firstly go to your customization page and click the “edit HTML” button

click anywhere within the vicinity of the box and click CTRL + F and type in “#ocehans{” (without the quotes)

you should then be presented with a section that looks somewhat like this (although certain values may be different):

for the border, you want to focus on the part that looks like this:

these are the settings i am using for my border so if you want it exactly the same, you can copy these. to change the thickness, colour etc, just change the certain values in the corresponding places.

for the width: change the pixel size where is says “border:2.9px” to a number you are happy with

for the style of the border, change the part where it says “dotted” to either solid, dotted, or dashed (depending on what yours is currently set at)

and finally, to change the colour, go to this website (or one similar to it) and choose the colour you like and type the hex colour code in where mine says “#d28181”

that is how you change the border. it is sometimes best to just mess around and see what style you like best.

Divider:

for the green boxes (that are called dividers), copy this code and paste it in your updates tab theme in correspondence to where you want the header to be. (it’s just like editing it normally, just paste in where you want it)

you can then change the colour by changing the hex code written after “background-color:”. eg. mine is “background-color:#91ac94”, and type what you want to show up in the divider where it says “TEXT HERE”

you can also change the text colour by changing the hex code after "color:" to whatever colour you prefer.
