Uoga Uoga comes directly from Lithuania to conquer the hearts of natural, handmade cosmetics. Their mission is to inspire people to live in harmony with nature. Although their product range is wide and includes face, body and hair products, I am focusing on their make up today.
First of all, there is Peachy. It is a mineral blush without synthetic additives. So far so good. But, what makes it special? Well, it is enriched with amber powder, which is traditionally used in Lithuanian cosmetics for its antimicrobal and healing properties. That is one luxurious ingredient! In particular, this blush is a mix of pink and orange so it can be used by all undertones - however, it is best for warm ones since there is more orange than pink. The texture is silky and not chalky at all, which is really appreciated. It is highly pigmented so application needs to be light - angled, duo-fiber brushes work best. Finally, it is pretty long lasting. It is one of the best blushes I've ever tried!
Then, there are the lipglosses. Their formula is thin, which implies several things. Firstly, they are not sticky at all - actually, they feel more like a gentle oil, but of course they do not bleed or feather. Quite a shocking formula actually, but it feels really good on the lips. Secondly, they have a moisturizing effect that I adore. Since the formula is thin, they need reapplication from time to time. Both are very glossy with a jelly effect, which gives the illusion of plumper, juicier lips. They come with a doe foot applicator.
Feather is a muted pink. It has a great coverage for lip discolorations with no sparkle. Nothing happened is clear - although in the swatch may look frosty, this is only an effect of light reflection. The sparkle is very fine but noticeable, quite scattered so it is good for work environments. It is my fav clear lipgloss ever!
As you can see, I really, really like Uoga Uoga's products. Their quality is very high and their ingredients are exquisite. I think they should do a crazy, sparkle filled gloss because the formula would perform so well. If you like your lip make up, and mineral make up in general, trying these is a must!
