Zuka has to watch the phighters run around with damaged gears and grabs them after rounds to fix em up since regular healing won’t do anything with gears. He has a few “frequent flyers” (hyperlaser (his gear is so busted that its a miracle it hasn’t blown up in his face yet), rocket (blows himself up), boombox (dive bombs)) he needs to be careful of.

- medkit speaks norwegian and finnish

- banhammer is a speaker of both haitian creole and french

- hyperlaser and subspace speak finnish

- blackrock has dialects based on class that are so separate theyre essentially different languages and i like to think of those languages as northern european ones (norwegian, swedish, finnish, icelandic, the sami languages, that kinda stuff)

- rocket speaks SPECIFICALLY DOMINICAN spanish because he grew up traveling through playground. he knows a couple of words in arabic as well, as zuka speaks iraqi arabic (he learned it just for fun when living in blackrock and likes to teach his son cool things). rocket also speaks czech. because his special interest is languages. i'm totally not projecting here...

- playground is just full of various caribbean spanish speakers

- SFoTH speak their own fun god language that i can only describe as being like viossa (a conlang which i love very much)

All the Blackrock fighters are stunned whenever they see affordable good food. Even more stunned when they eat it because it actually tastes like something.

Medkit gets all kinds of good food when he’s with the Church. A lot of flavorful, meaty, and filling meals. They are a bit spicy for his taste, but it tastes like something!! It’s incredible!!

Blackrock having absolutely dogshit food is a funny concept at first glance but makes a lot of sense when you think on it! They’d be as practical and efficient as possible, hence flavorless or badly flavored but nutritious food… any cheap food that tastes like anything is probably just way oversalted…

Coil has a defective biograft he begrudgingly gained a soft spot for after finding it sparking up in a dumpster and he treats it kind of like a pet dog

Because of this biograft he forced himself to learn some engineering skills to keep the thing working and will take up side gigs doing somewhat sketchy repairs for inphernals thanks to his new skillset.
