Me: ugh an old post of mine that didnāt get much attention is feeling relevant to me again. Why are people so adamant that Pyro is OVERREACTING to Scott throughout the series??? Even the people who DONāT mean it in a weird victim blamey way I just donāt understand why theyād say thatā¦

#simply tired of hearing āScott wasnāt as bad as Pyro acted like he wasā EVEN IF the person saying it also acknowledges that Scott WAS bad#itās like āsure heās bad but not to the degree Pyro thought he wasā ??? A MAN CANT REACT TO THREATS ANYMORE??? ITS OVERREACTING???#āScottās not bad cuz he only THREATENED pyro he never ACTUALLY did anythingā thatās what u all sound like EXCEPT YOU COMPLETELY AGREE WITH#THAT STATEMENT. THOSE WERE NOT COMPLETELY EMPTY THREATS. WE CANT TREAT SCOTT LIKE HE DIDNT DO IT JUST BECAUSE HE NEVER DID WHAT HE THREATEND#at least the ppl who acknowledge scott was still bad have SOMETHING going. like yeah Scottās complex whatever.#but there are people. IN THE EPISODE 5 DAYS EVEN. who victim blamed pyro SO HARD. for BEING SCARED????#people were legitimately out there. implying that pyro was AN EVIL MANIPULATOR. for BEING SCARED OF SCOTT.#listen I get that thereās a lot more to pyros narrative but I gotta say mcyt fandoms track record with abuse stories is not great LOL#cuz why tf were ppl MAD that a guy was SCARED after receiving THREATS from a guy THAT ATTACKED HIM PREVIOUSLY.#and now Iām taking out my anger on ppl who say āScott wasnāt as bad as Pyro believed even tho he WAS badā#like idc if thereās even a little truth to it. word it in a better way if u must say it. but nothing about the way pyro viewed scott was#unreasonable.
