Listen, let me explain. Mira is naturally very cold, because of the whole water-dragon genetics. Rumi is naturally very warm, thanks to the demon genetics.
Temperature wise, Zoey is the most human. Mira and Rumi balance each other out, so they always want to be touching each other. For Rumi it's basically like hugging a cold pillow, while for Mira it's like waking up in the middle of winter in a warm bed(never wanting to leave).
Zoey, however, has worked out a system. Warm summertime? She's attached to Mira. Cold winter? She's stealing all of Rumi's body heat.
Unless she's laying in top of them both. That happens a lot as well and makes the system completely useless.
