the archduke growls, a sound that starts in their throat and threatens to end in furfur's. fingers tight but not tight enough to discorporate, though they'd have every reason to do so. full blown snake eyes flickering down to the other demon's hand before they finally, finally, speak.

               ❝           what servicessss do i need from a back stabbing, bottom of the barrel, poor excuse for a demon like you?      ❞      the prince of hell hisses, fangs bared. a reminder that this wasn't the same demon who'd walked on earth for thousands of years. no, this wasn't the demon gone native. not anymore. this was crowley, serpent of eden, archduke of hell. reshaped by the dark council's own hands. risen from the pain inflicted upon them as punishment for their crimes against hell. heaven-bent on revenge against the acrhangel aziraphale.
