Sans clutched his head. He had a pounding headache, probably from all the inaudible whispering coming from seemingly nowhere. That voice from before was the only one so far that he could tell what was being said. Where were these voices coming from? Was he hearing things? He shook his head. No use thinking too hard about it. He tries to stand up and stumbles, resulting in him getting back onto his bed. He was aching like crazy.
Sans checks himself, and as before, it came up with an ERROR message. Carefully taking out his soul to examine it, his eyes widened in disbelief. It was glitching. How was it glitching? Why was it glitching? How was this even scientifically possible? Like he was in some sort of computer, but he wasn’t right? Questions plagued his mind. He was so distracted he almost didn’t notice the small, almost unnoticeable cracks that had formed in his soul. He was even more frail than he already was.
Mind spiraling, he heard someone open the door and immediately rush to hug him. Looking up, he noticed Papyrus. He was crying.
“Bro! What’s wrong?” Sans asked worriedly.
“YOU WERE ASLEEP FOR WEEKS, BROTHER! FATHER WAS SURE YOU WERE GOING TO DIE! I AM SO GLAD YOU'RE AWAKE. WE TRIED EVERYTHING TO HELP, BUT NOTHING SEEMED TO WORK.”
“Well, I am awake now. Though I don’t think I can walk properly.”
“THAN THE GREAT PAPYRUS SHALL HELP."
Papyrus put his arm around Sans and helped him up. Sans stumbles again, but Papyrus catches him and helps to support him. He walked out of his room and down the stairs with a lot of help from his brother and sat down at the dinner table.
“I WILL GET MOM AND DAD,” Papyrus says as he rushes out of the room.
Asleep for weeks… He hopes he didn’t miss anything important.
