For someone like myself in whom the ability to trust others is so cracked and broken that I am wretchedly timid and am forever trying to read the expression on people's faces.

Skeletal and reconfigured from someplace else I leave you as I wake to you.
Melissa Buzzeo, The Devastation
I went on a protest march today. What for? To voice against oppression and political persecution in Hong Kong. I know that there's a large population of those sorts who "don't-give-a-damn-about-what-goes-on-in-the-world-and-around-them", and I am speaking to those sorts. No matter where you are from, no matter what goes on around you, we all carry certain responsibilities to speak up and fight for what's right, and fight against any forms of injustices, prejudices, or oppression. It affects our future, our children and our children's children. At the end of the day, ask yourself, "What do you stand for?" #quotestoliveby #quoteoftheday #quote #qotd #quotetoinspire #words #wordsoftheday #wordsofday #wordstoliveby #life #lessonsinlife #lifelessons #uncertainy #uncertaintime #uncertaintimescarrycertainresponsibilities #responsibilities
Expectations
It's been a month since I started this game project, and the more I work on it and as time flies by, the more I'd imagine everyone would be expecting of it. Maybe I'm just really demotivated right now, but I'd like to get this off my chest. The game won't be incredible. It's an interactive comic, that's quite frankly very easy to breeze through. You'd likely spend 5 minutes playing it. Also there's minor bugs to show up here and there that I haven't the slightest clue how to fix or HOW to encounter them again. It's mostly jitters, or overlapping graphics, but as a whole the game is relatively clean looking. I just want to get it straight to you guys that the game was made from scratch, and if it's received well from everyone and I get enough support, my next one should take half the time, considering I now have more experience and my current game to work off of. No update pic this time. I'm very close to completion, I just need to add the last few dialogues. If I'd have to give a percentage, I'd say I'm 85% done. Expect the game by the end of this week! Stay Tuned. P.S. I want to do this more. It's really fun, but next time, I'd like to make an actual game. Keeping track of dialogues and making an RPG-esque game like this was a surprisingly difficult start. Let me know what you guys think.

Poetry-empty. Settled bones, winter bare. Stretch like plastic, this skin of joints swollen. Here. Do not touch me. Touch me. Hungry and dark, I lick things to claim them.

Feel out of place in my own head.
I would stare at the grains of light suspended in that silent space, struggling to see into my own heart. What did I want? And what did others want from me? But I could never find the answers. Sometimes I would reach out and try to grasp the grains of light, but my fingers touched nothing.
Haruki Murakami, in Norwegian Wood (maybe the Japanese Catcher in the Rye?), beautifully describing the confusion and difficulty that sometimes accompanies uncertainty. Challenging as it is, this is imperative to remember. And so is this.
