Ryouma initially sought out a Zangoose as a partner because of their solitary nature. However, the trickster he ended up catching made his life much more troublesome than he initially expected.

I apologize for the long break in between posts in this series! During October I focused on black-and-white art (in the spirit of Inktober), but I wanted to keep this series consistent with color, so it kind of got placed on the back-burner! Now that Inktober’s over, I definitely plan on continuing this crossover :D

Korekiyo initially caught Absol in order to predict when a tragedy would occur, allowing him to observe how humans reacted to them. However, throughout his journey, he’s found himself viewing Absol less as a tool for his studies, and more as a true partner.

The idea of Kokichi and a Sneasel came the quickest to me. And of course his secret organization would be making Master Balls for him~

Angie had never been that interested in battling, instead opting to travel from region to region, searching for inspiration for her next painting. When she arrived in Alola and discovered an Oranguru just as interested in art as she was, they became fast friends.

Rantarou had known that some Pokemon had major personality changes upon evolving, but nevertheless, he was still surprised when his stubborn, headstrong Treecko evolved into a timid Grovyle.

Occasionally Himiko finds her performances a bit tiring, but encouragement from Mime Jr. always seems to recharge her mana.
