Quin left back home today after having an amazing week together. They were here for Thanksgiving and I'm beyond grateful for having had them here with me. I've never felt right bringing someone home to my family before but everything felt right and I'm glad it went okay. I miss them terribly already and it's only been a few hours but hopefully the time will go by quickly. It always does with them; which I know is a good thing. The next time we see each other will be in a New Year. It's kind of Bittersweet. I didn't think I would be here to see another year (let alone actually want to) but they have made everyday a bit more bearable and every single day helps me realize my self-worth and all the things I could be. They managed to do this without losing who they are in me (which is something that happens more often than I'd wish) and I'm so in love with the entirety of their being. I can't wait to see what we become. I want to keep this going forever... for however long forever is .
