It just occured to me that I have never listened to songs in Catalan language. Do you have any recommendation?
The reason behind that, is because there's barely any market in Spain, let alone in the world. So don't worry, I barely listen to Catalan music myself.
This ask has thrown me into a journey to my past! Basically, when I think of Catalan songs, I think about Club Super3 and anime.
So Club Super3 did their own songs with cor Coral·lí (Cloral·lí choir), or the characters representing the program. So here are some songs. (X, X). The first one is sing in sing language too.
One of my favourtites it's No Tic por (I don't have fear) by Lila from Club Super3.
About anime, the dubber has been usually the ones to do the songs, here it's a playlist with some openings/endings in Catalan. (X)
Outside that, music I'll recommend are Els Pets, Gossos, Sopa de Cabra, Macedònia or Txarango.
I'll specially mention this two too.
First, Els Gossos fills del sol (sons (and daughters) of the sun). So my mom works with people with intellectual disability (I do know there's a more politically correct word, so please if you know it, let me know so I'll use it, I don't intend to offend anyone), and they did a free concert for them and record this, which I think it's beautiful. The songs talk about being a bit different and opening doors, even when the luck and people have not completely been with us.
The second one, it's Ningú més que tu (Only you (by the Spanish name and Nobody else than you by the Catalan translation) by Pablo Alboran. I do know he does not sing in Catalan, but he did this song to raise money and for autism. His Spanish song was linked to autism and when he realizes he decided to do a Catalan version. It's included in 'La Marató' CD, which is a one-day event every year done to raise for a disease, I think it was for heart diseases that year.
