So @finz-art posted a really beautiful piece of art over on their patreon which showcased Jonathan Crane being forcibly manhandled by Harvey Dent and I could NOT help myself from making a wee 5 sentence fic about it.
The smooth plaster of the asylum wall was cold and unyielding against his cheek as Crane found his head slammed into the hard surface and held in place by a scarred hand, the sheer force of the blow causing some small slivers of paint to flake off and fall to the thin fabric of his asylum jumpsuit. "As long as I'm breathing," Dent snarled, the words pulling free of his torn mouth with such vitriol that Crane couldn't hold back the smirk which stretched his chapped lips, "you're going to regret what you did. Every day in here is gonna be hell for you, fucker." "Mr. Dent, such displays of anger will only result in an increased dosage of- ah!" His words cut off by a sharp, pained inhale as he found his arm jammed roughly up between his shoulder blades, Crane bit down hard on the inside of his mouth as he forced himself to swallow the discomfort. "You know what the staff are like, you know they don't give a fuck about us or what we do. Better get some friends in the infirmary cause you're going to be spending a lot of time there." His wide body caging Crane hard against the wall, a high flush of furious colour stained the unscarred skin on Dent's right side as he finally found an outlet for the anger which had been slowly simmering within his chest since Crane's admission. "If you really are so furious with me, Mr. Dent," Crane bit out, irritation at his manhandling finally seeping through his forced nonchalance, "then explain to me what that hardness is that I can feel pressing against my left thigh?"
