At the dimly lit restaurant, you and Harvey—well… you and two-face sat at the two person table, despite Harvey’s concern for you and his alter-ego butting heads. You insisted on one date, after all he’s still part of Harvey.

Jazz played smoothly while his eyes pierced through you as you worked on your own drink. He would occasionally grunt to the instrumentals.

“You look gorgeous tonight.” the voice was rasped as Two-face swirled his glass of liquor in his hand. 

Two-face was someone that you were conflicted with. You do prefer your husband after all, but since he’s part of your husband, how could you truly dislike him? “I can tell why Harv wanted you, why he took you for himself.”

You roll your eyes with a scoff, “So I’m basically a trophy to you?”

“Sure, maybe to me, but I feel the way Harv feels for you. You know he loves you, and because he does, I would kill for you on his behalf. ” The permanent show of his teeth makes him continuously snarl at you, “He’s whipped for you. Too whipped. Talks to me about the damn shows you like. About everything you like.”

“Poor you, and lucky me” you smirk, and stare with blatant, split scrutiny at your husband's face: adoration to the right and suspicion to the left. You reach a hand to his own and grip the right, you squeeze his palm and smile when the gentle pulse trickles up your arm.

The intact lip of Harvey twitches up as he brings your hand to his face, he places a light kiss to the knuckles, “I’ll have to come to love you too.” he says with certainty and his  eyes look back to you, with the little glint  of Harvey Dent.
