The one thing I like about twitter is that you can block all the ads that come up in your feed, but I need to keep track of what companies I block because I swear I keep getting repeats. Can twitter unblock accounts you've blocked? Can companies pay to be unblockable in the first place?

Donât mind me causing some mayhem on Twitter.
I'm all for artists getting support via patreon. However I don't think making all art private and only posting snippets at best will help build a new fanbase.
At the very least, it would make sense they put their portfolio or old art galleries on Twitter. That is, you don't need to make new art public, bc you want people to pay for it (fair), but new followers would probably be swayed by seeing full pieces of art (use old galleries or make a public art piece from time to time).
Maybe I'm missing something and the artist in question really is comfortable with the current following and doesn't want to expand, and trust their followers will keep paying.
