Twitching jigs for salmon and steelhead is nothing novel to the angling world, yet it has not been fully embraced. Times have changed, though. The advancement and ease of social media this has allowed anglers to share their positive experiences, techniques, and various jigs. I have always been curious, and only last year I decided to tie a twitching jig, and when I get a chance, I will try it. There is more to the story, but I will save it for my article. All I can say is when you see a monster of a chinook come out of the depth and attack your jig, and it is an extremely exhilarating experience.
Today I received their lineup of twitching jigs from Amundson Outdoors, their twitching rods for spinning and bait casting reels. Stay tuned for adventures to come.
