🌲 @hellofromthehallowoods (206) Oughh Kellyanne has consistently been one of the most complex characters in the show and an episode entitled Atonements is SO relevant to her. I’m so glad that Jed and Russell made it out, but it sounds like the other Wicker children will continue to be a problem. Percy and Diggory’s fight was so uncomfortable, there’s so much hurt and history in all of their interactions! Like Russell, I still cling to the hope that Johannah Wicker is going to change sides and help save the day. Do it for Ingrid!!! 

👻 @tellnotalespod (S2E2.5-4) Aw man, I forgot how much some of the season two ghosts really hit you in the feelings! I can’t even imagine that family’s reaction to finding out that there ghost was the father 😭 and ep 4 was such a transformative moment for Frank and Leo’s relationship! I would seriously hate to be stuck in a car for that long with one of my bosses, though, Leo is a hero! 

🌞 Small Victories by @wgc-productions (8) THE SOBS I SOBBED. It got to the point where I nearly had to pull over, I could barely see for the tears. Oh my God 😭 I don’t even know what else to say! Amazing, amazing work from everyone involved. 

🚚  Don’t Tell Alice (1) I used to listen to Alice Isn't Dead while looking down a microscope for hours and it made everything feel a little detached from reality. It’s so fun to get that feeling back and Jasika Nicole’s voice is such a balm!! I’m already hooked back into the mystery from this first episode!! 

❄️ The NQD: Snowblood (by @hangingslothcentral) pilot is INCREDIBLE!!! I’m obsessed already. It does such a good job of setting up the stakes (hehe) for this new arc and, my God, Neige has some absolutely incredible one liners. ‘You have blown me off 6 times this month, and not in the way I would like’ has been popping into my head at inopportune moments all week! 🦭 @twelvelms (9) Another Twelvelms episode so good I was compelled to listen twice!! I feel like I love Quinn a little more every episode, her reaction to the Selkie reveal was so *her*, but her growing love for Cyan was an obvious undercurrent in it all. Ooh, Abagnale is also growing on me but THE MAN IS SUSPICIOUS, OKAY?! He has motives, I don’t understand them! The magical lore is incredibly interesting! It would make you feel pretty sick to dwell on that theory if you were a keen potion-maker. Magical veganism is the way forward! ✨ Next episode Cyan and Felix will sort some of their shit 🤞

💀 I started Our Wars Have Ended by @thesiltverses. I expected nothing less from this creative team, but what an incredible first episode!! Equal parts engaging and horrifying and already ripe with a cast of intricate and difficult characters! My seatbelt is firmly on and I am ready for the ride!

I've been working on the world in which Twelvelms is set for almost a decade, and the story of the show is something I've been working on for several years. I have written two full episodes of the show so far and have extensive outlines for the rest of season one, plus many later scenes I've written ahead of time!!

which expands the show's world and gives you loads to explore whilst you're waiting for the show to come out!!

You may be wondering why I'm crowdfunding this right now, not later!! Planning and development of a show this size and scope is time consuming, difficult and complicated. I want to make sure I know how much I'm going to be able to pay other people whose involvement I ask for before I move ahead and ask them to come aboard. Crowdfunding itself is a lengthy and stressful process, too, and I am having surgery in September, so ideally I'd like to avoid being in a position where the first thing I have to do when I return to work after my recovery period is crowdfunding, if I can!!

These things combine to mean that now is the best possible time for me to be fundraising for this show. I really believe in this show and I wish it already existed so I could listen to it. It's a thing I really believe needs to exist, and I'm so hopeful and excited about it.
