⛪️ I started Forgive Me (1.01-2.02) and it’s exactly as fun and silly as I thought it would be! I’m not catholic myself, but I’m really glad that the show explored the intersection (sometimes collision) of faith and sexuality in an early episode. It’s hard to have a favourite parishioner - ah, who am I kidding, it’s Clara! 🔔

🌵 @desertskiespodcast (24-25) Evil Jennifer Coolidge can back away from my beloved Mac!! It just goes to show how easy it is to plant seeds of doubt in someone’s mind despite the strength of their friendships! 

📖 @storiesfromylelmore (202) ohhh, baby Rion ☹️ this episode made me so sad!! I was a Responsible Kid at school and I really related to his frustration and feelings of shame about the unreasonable requests being too much. I hate Ms [Beep] and her microaggressions!!! Horrific! But very grateful for a Principal who has tried to improve their understanding of Rion’s situation so he can be best supported.

🦋 @remnantspod (53) I was already heartbroken by the Apprentice’s ‘I wish I’d let you’ that I was caught in a fight or flight response when I heard Gloria’s name. I’ve been waiting for this episode for SO long and, yes, of course, it had me in tears. Remnants has always humanised even its worst characters and this was no different. We’ve seen the echoes of Gloria’s abuse ripple out into every experience her nephew had for the rest of his life. The ‘I still dreamed of you’ and ‘I must have been so bad, I thought, to make someone with such soft hands be so rough’. Send an ambulance. I also thought the ending of this episode was so neatly done. It’s such a skill to find the right moment to cut off from that crescendo of feeling! 

👩🏾‍❤️‍👨🏻 Life With LEO(h) by @atypicalartists (2.06-2.08) Ohh I LOVED the end of this season, what delicious culminations to the character arcs we’ve been rooting for! Though I came to love Parker, I am very much satisfied with the ending! Grandma Rhee was a stand-out performance in the last few episodes as well! PLEASE can we have another season?? PLEASE. I want Roommate to have her sapphic dreams realised 🥹 please???

🧋 @hinaypod (87) Oooh Mari, it doesn’t sound like she’s in good shape at all! Who knew that trying to stop the most powerful magic users in Toronto could go awry? Even with a handful of pet serial killers. I love hearing Donner and Laura working together 💜

🚚  Don’t Tell Alice (1,7) This episode just raised the stakes in such a scary and well-crafted way! There’s a reason the NVP team have a podcast about learning how to write well - they KNOW how to write well!! Before this episode, the other America was unsettling, sure, but now it seems dangerous. I’m so excited to find out more. 

📖 @storiesfromylelmore (201) Aw this episode was so amazingly visual! I could imagine all the little spirits so clearly, as well as the broomstick riding! I also really loved the sound design with the privacy bubble, though I agree it would almost certainly be better with some fancy lighting. What a lovely start to the next season!
