It very much depends on the king of content you want to post, but i think that to get more notes it’s really important to post the latest and the newest content.  So make sure to follow the cast and crew and the official accounts for the show on twitter and instagram and monitor if anything interesting comes up.

Then, even if you’re not the first one to post about it on tumblr, what really makes the difference is how you present the content. For example, if you’re posting some photo you got from instagram, add some sassy comment, or make connection with other stuff, so that you’re not just mechanically reposting something someone else posted, but you’re also expressing your opinion, or you’re bringing people to consider a certain aspect of the situation, or you’re giving them a lough. 

Remember to tag your posts carefully, to covering all the variants so the posts shows up in as many researches as you can, but do not add misleading or not relevant tags. Also focus on a few particular tags and use them on most of your posts. When you get enough notes, this will increase your relevance so that when people search one of those tags, your blog will show up among the top results. This will give you a lot of visibility. 

If you have original content to post, such as fan arts, fan fictions, fan whatever, then it’s great, but sadly the original content doesn’t always get the attention it deserves. Also, consider learning how to make gifs, if you’re not familiar with that, because those really make the difference.

For the Riverdale fandom, the Comics are a very  important component, so if you are interested in it, posts about the comics can also give you popularity. I think by now we’ve pretty much posted everything interesting from the 2015 series, but you can keep up with the latest issue and post about them if you find anything interesting when they come out. I think there is still a lot more to discover in the old comics, so if you find them around and feel up to read them, i think you can find some pretty interesting stuff that the people here on tumblr would love.
