I was chopping up an old picnic table for firewood the other night and was seeing signs from the universe to be Carl Grimes again
One of the crumbling boards I pulled up was full of rusted old nails. It looked like a weapon. Something heavy with spikes for smashing walkers. Two of the boards for the bench were nailed together in a weird way that formed a cross. They were big too. And heavy duty. Theyβd be something that I wouldβve used as a grave marker in Alexandria. Yknow, when we used to bury people within the walls. I coulda just scratched someoneβs name in it and stuck it in the ground
