i feel like people forget having problematic kins / sources isnt a commentary on your own character as a person. like people actually criticizing and ostracizing 'problematic' kin doesnt happen very often from what ive seen, but when it does its like. ouch yk?
if youre reading this and from a problematic source or youre kin of a problematic character, just know that that doesnt speak about you personally. im rick from rick & morty, jimmy from mouthwashing, and bill from gravity falls to name a few, and i feel awful about it if i think too long about it but im tryna get to that point where i dont feel guilty ab it because i know i didnt choose this. you didnt choose your source either, so dont go beating yourself up about it. just do your best to be the best you every day, man, just like you normally would. keep on keepin on etc.
