the story is completely different in my au/ take, Hawin and Dane we're mutually pinning on each other for a short while, I say short because Danes death ended it right real quick, Hawin had genuinely forgotten to tell anyone about the points and by the time he remembered it was too late, he's since had survivor's guilt after witnessing it all, he doesn't know who to tell/ trust about it let alone where to even start with unpacking such a traumatic event, his main reason for not telling anyone was that he was afraid of being seen as a murderer or worse, scrapped
