I know probably, like, two people follow this blog atm, but I'm still going to post here for dev log's sake.
Anyway, big update for tSotD real quick:
TL;DR: tSotD is going to be a semi-animated series instead of a webcomic. Still working on it.
I've decided not to make it a webcomic. This is mainly because I'm not very familiar with the medium of webcomics, and drawing and formatting every panel frankly seemed exhausting. Plus, advertising a webcomic and getting people to actually read it seems like a whole ordeal, so I've decided to switch to a medium I'm more familiar with.
Currently, tSotD is looking to be a semi-animated series instead of a webcomic! It's going to be a more storyboard/animatic format (no lip-sync or anything, kinda like My Pride) to make things less exhausting for me, because animating is hard but it's easier when you don't have to animate in-betweens. It will be voice-acted (and I'll eventually put up a casting call for that when it's time), probably about 8-9 episodes maybe about 20-30 minutes each, and posted on YouTube (or a similar platform if YouTube doesn't get its crap together by then). I'm still balancing plot development and concept art with various hyperfixations other important things in my life, but once I've got that done or mostly-done, I'll start work on a trailer for the series!
