"What happened here?" He asked, and I looked back at him, his features were soft in the gentle lighting.

"Nothing." He raised an eyebrow, but looked to the horizon anyway.

A couple seconds of silence passed.

"I realize I only know your stage name, I'm Bryan Herring." I glanced back at him.

"I know who you are," he seemed surprised, "from the Bellagio escape act." A little bit of color rose in his cheeks.

"Oh, that was a long time ago,"

"Certainly not long enough to forget." I said, looking away again. "I'm Alexander Chase."

Another stretch of silence fell, I don't know how long it would have lasted, nor who would have broken it in the end, for there was an interruption before we could find out.

I actually have a lot of fun draw this! I always thinks that these two have this “Holw’s moving castle” relationship vibe so I draw them base on that one scene from that movie

i recently read Shakespeare's Hamlet for english class and a thought popped in my head.

now i may just be connecting random dots lol, but i wonder if Amaryllis was any bit inspired by Ophelia?

they both go "crazy" more or less because of the people around them, they both have a deep connection to flowers, and they're both pushed into something at the end of their part of their respective stories.

if this was intentional that is so so so cool because Shakespeare references are just A+++, but if it wasn't that's still a really cool coincidence ^ - ^
