WIP - Taxi Default Replacement
This is the beginning. Only the High lod is complete and the textures (oh the textures) need more work. That taxi roof sign will be the death of me. lol It's on a separate group and uv mapped weirdly. But because this is a DR, s3pe is buggering the mesh mapping of it. And I'm not sure I can fix it. It's not awful but it's just enough to be annoying. 😒 And other things to do like; light values, shininess tweaks, and doing the Late Night (ghost) Taxi version (it's called Car Lightweight Taxi in the game files).
LANDGRAAB MALL
It’s finally done... a recreation of the Landgraab Mall downtown lot from the Sims 1!
This is one of four Sims 1 lots I’ve rebuilt in Sims 2.
It’s not an exact recreation. I did make some changes to make it more usable in Sims 2 and generally a bit nicer, but I did try to keep the original feel and “Sims 1-ness” feel of everything.
The toy store sells magazines and video games, the candy store has been converted into an arcade, the ice cream counter is now a coffee stand, and I removed a podium in the diner since with two podiums a ridiculous number of servers were spawned.
Sims will get foot-stampy in the restaurant due to the chair arrangement but they’ll still be able to sit and eat so I didn’t think it’s really a problem.
The original lot is 35x35, so this one is 40x40. It’s not a huge difference, but there is a bit more foliage around the back.

The Space Chicken Statue from TS1 Updated to TS4. This required an entirely new mesh as TS1 doesn’t have meshes--just sprites. Hope you like, and hope you enjoy. Cheers!

Making some party themed lots and working on recreation of C015 Belle hair from base game. With Bella's head mesh this was one of my favourite from base game heads, so I wanted to give it try to recreate it! How is looking to you?
