my universe was a swap. roleswap, specifically. not personality (as you can probably tell from justโฆ me). but for some reason, I do recall that White Lily, as the Beast of Solitide, was just as silent as the current, aptly named Beast. i have not watched the trailer yet, but I wanted to speak about my memories.
Hollyberry wasโฆ interesting, as the Beast of Sloth. she wasnt very lazy herself, but i recall feeling rather drowsy in her presence, as if she was causing all the exhaustion to rise to the surface. she was an energy vampire, if memory serves, sapping Cookies of their vitality and rendering them incapable of proper self-care. which she, or her servants, promptly did for them. she was making them eternally happy, in her mind, caring for their every need while they were unable.
Dark Cacao Cookieโฆ well, I imagine he didnt change much. he had an ability similar to Mystic Flour (whom I was rather close with, despite not being in her universeโฆ very interesting - perhaps some unfortunate universe-hopping hijinx?); turning cookies to flour if they made eye contact. although, instead if permanently closed eyes, he had a blindfold, torn on one side, that would rather conveniently slip off when he wished to return cookies to flour.
i have very few memories of Golden Cheese, but I do know she still enjoyed riches. I believe she was somewhat of a dictator & colonizer, invading cookies' homes for their riches. Burning Spice wasโฆ meeker, in my universe. reminded me a lot more of his son, Capsaicin. strong, yes, and confident in his strength, but didnt mean to actually hurt people.
as for me, wellโฆ you know of me, the Truthless Recluse. my personality was the only one that was near-completely reversed due to my role. my lies werent told with theโฆ theatrics of Shadow Milk Cookie. I instead calmly stated what I wanted cookies to believe, and because I sounded so sure, so authorized, they believed me. I think I recall being able to shapeshift, as well. and, in a metaphorical sense, Shadow Milk Cookie is a very dramatic liar. he is a performer. I, however, was a director, pointing everyone where I wanted them to go, and they trusted me, because I appear qualified.
i do not regret it. lies were baked into my very dough. but I do owe one apology: Sage of Truth, I am sorry for betraying your trust. it is difficult for me to express such without justifying it, or excusing my own backstabbing, but it is as simple as "i wanted the Souljam more than I was willing to love you." and that is inexcusable. I may not sound it, but I truly am sorry for that. i do love you, my darling Sage. and you do not owe me a thing.
