Alphys: Wow, you guys really wanna know, huh? W-well, I’ll try and explain..
Alphys: There are lots of kinds of monsters, but in general, we can split them into two categories... Elemental Monsters and Beast Monsters. You know, like.. Sprites and Golems vs. Rabbits and Furry Boss Monsters... b-but Monsters are generally the same, considering we’re all made of magic- but.. there’s some minor differences. Biologically and stuff. (even though we can..interb-breed)
Alphys: (Skeletons are elementals, kind of like.. b-bone golems? It’s weird.)
Alphys: Lycantemmie affects them differently. Beasts tend to simply mutate into Temmies . while Elementals’ bodies, not being made of flesh, tend to have their bodies secrete a sort of.. liquid black magic to force the resemblance. (it lights on fire easily, but dosen’t burn..) These are the first few stages.
Alphys: Sans had black tendrils leaking from his skull, that was the black magic beginning to form. And at about stage four of the curse, their language comprehension and self-restraint begins to fail. After that.. Well.. it simply gets worse.
Alphys: The curse makes them start thinking they’re temmies, but with their aggression super high, and... we..well... they’ll start to...
Alphys: Anyway, he’s not going to die from it, even if it does progress past the last stage. And it’ll be at least two weeks before that happens anyway. Asgore should be here any minute now.
