man. it's funny as shit that this time around I made a friend entirely outside of kin stuff, someone who wedged her way into my heart and makes damn sure to tell me frequently that she'll never leave me alone (even before I told her about my continued abandonment issues), and I fell in love in a stupid way. and we're dating now. and when I revealed my kin stuff to her it turned out she also kins Poppy. time really is a flat circle, huh?

I miss Poppy. she always felt so safe. she was my home, more than grandma's pod, more than my bunker, more than anything. I'm very lucky in that I can get posters of her to decorate my space now, and that I can get little toy versions of her to carry with me, but I also know that it'll never be quite the same as when she was with me.

What I wouldn't do to be able to sit down with John Dory and tell him I forgive him. I hope he doesn't carry too much guilt.. Second timeline, and apparently a different son! (Which y'know. Makes sense because the father of my son's in the first timeline ends up dying in the second. Lol. ANYWAYS-) Not only that, but fucking. His voice is *literally* the singer of this silly ass song I used to listen to religiously/aff. I'm in the middle of work, I can't be jump scared by More Children when I can't even try and draw what they mightve looked like!
Hopefully i dont forget by the time I get home.
Also this confirms who my partner was in the second timeline and I am. Begrudging. I will take this information to the grave- never to be made public. I refuse /lh/silly

Somehow thanks to a random website I was able to remember all of the brothers birthdays (including my own!!! That never happens!!) so here they are, for any who may have had similar:
John Dory's was on September 21st in 1980
Bruce's was on August 28th in '81
Clay's was on June 17th in '84
Floyd's was on January 30th in '86
Mine was on March 14th in '86
and Branch's was on November 4th in 1995
The band broke up in '99, and, y'know, "the rest is history" as the saying goes. Either way, it's *really* cool for me to know all of these, now, and I will be adding them to my calendar >:3
