if it weren’t for MJ there wouldn’t even be a Beyoncé. She will literally never have that man’s pull or his talent, and she wouldn’t even claim she did.

Ppl just need to accept the fact that what MJ accomplished was astronomical and that it will never again be replicated. And that’s ok! Other artists can be good or great even in their own ways. They will never be Michael Jackson, though! No one will ever take his crown because it was buried with him.

And while we’re at it, Beyoncé hasn’t done even a fraction for the world at large as MJ did, and it’s insulting to pretend she has. She did not break the color barrier in music and entertainment, she did not break his sales, she is not the greatest selling solo act, she did not unite the world, and she has not done even a sliver of the humanitarian work that he did, either.

Michael Jackson went down in history as the greatest artist the world has ever known, and he deserves it for all of his hard work. He never once stopped pushing the limits, never allowed others to tell him what he could and couldn’t do. Not only was he and IS he still an inspiration to billions, but underneath that and aside from the fame, he was genuinely a good human being.

And to me, Michael as a person is worth so much more than his art. He was simply a pure person who cared so much for the world and all of the people in it, and who always tried to make people happy. To me, that’s what he should be remembered for above anything else.

It was proven that Harvey Weinstein paid multiple media outlets in 1993 and 1994 to run slanderous stories about Michael Jackson to cover up his own pedo ring. What happened to Michael in 1993 again? Oh yeah, the Chandler Allegations broke.

In 2005, Epstein was investigated. What happened in 2005? Michael Jackson’s criminal trial that covered up every detail of Epstein.

Then in 2019, a documentary was being released at the same festival as Leaving Neverland called Untouchable that was meant to expose Weinstein and his criminal trial. It got buried by LN and his trial and conviction received virtually no coverage.

Ppl can keep pretending MJ isn’t used as a smokescreen but he was and still is in death. I mean, we have a pedophile on video admitting to coaching a boy to lie about MJ…

I don't know about obsessed with, but the earliest artists i remember liking independent of my parents were probably Jimmy Buffett and The Chicks and ye! still both of them
