She does not stand with women, gays, trans people, poc, immigrants, etc.—her politics are wholly self-serving. When “woke” was in the zeitgeist, she made a movie presenting herself as the ultimate ally who cried over women’s rights and anti-gay legislation and wore rainbows everywhere. Even then, she only engaged with issues that impacted her and refused to touch any topic that could potentially alienate the conservative demographic in her audience. Now that the right is dominant, she is silent about the issues she used to champion and keeps company with magats and billionaires who do not care about human rights, ergo she does not care about human rights. You are the company you keep. It’s true even if you don’t like to hear it.

Her only concern is her own success and she will support whatever causes she thinks will maintain her popularity and influence. She’s no Musk or Bezos but she is a fickle, flip-flopping fake progressive.

Anyone who claims criticism of her to be anti-feminist should think critically. It really is that deep especially right now. I will admit for the sake of my ethos and to the detriment of my dignity that I was at one point a TS fan and defender. I have read, heard, and combatted actual misogyny against her. This is genuine criticism of her ethics and politics that is rooted in fact. The only hate here is for the disgustingly rich and the intolerant right.

Do not let up on her and those of her ilk.
