It’s a lot of work being the most delusional person I’ve ever met

The culture of pretentious college-aged music nerd boys (at least at my school) seems to have shifted slightly from “who can listen to the most grating, discordant, t-girl prod noise music?” to “which one of us can stand listening to this 1970s Italian jazz film score or three hour ambient Chinese album or shrill twee pop ep made in the late 90s by one woman with very tiny bangs the longest?”

I don’t know how to verbalize this feeling. I’m lonely? But like I’m not exactly sad about it? It’s partially by choice, partly not. I’m kind of sad. I don’t know. I want to be alone but I want company. I think I just want to feel seen? Maybe? No one clicks anymore. They all fit weird. I guess that’s how I would describe it. Idk. Ts weird
