heads up, this is shit nobody cares about i felt nostalgic so i went through a multi-day process recovering my old animal jam and roblox account. here is a customer service comparison. with animal jam, i moved my entire account to an email that got deleted due to inactivity and i had to ask them to move it to my current email, and they asked me for my ip despite me giving both my billing info and proof that my account was created under my email. mind you, i had emailed them about this three years prior with the same proof but they frustrated me so much i just left them on read. with roblox, they had forced 2fa on my account under the same inactive email so i asked them to remove it through their shitty ai bot and they closed the ticket because there wasn't "sufficent evidence". i, of course, did not want to go through this process again so i asked to talk to a 'human' and they gave me back my account after i yelled at them in my fourth email. i think i might've used some sort of key word because they just instantly gave it back after not registering my screenshots. hate to say it, but roblox has better customer service than animal jam when money's involved. i did not have to go through any of this to play toontown rewritten again because toontown has never failed me or held any of my accounts hostage
