Learning about military transids makes us happy.
We've always wanted to be in the military. We were a military kid. Our father was in the army and we took ROTC classes. We loved the togetherness of ROTC and the military, it was something we never felt with anyone else.
Unfortunately, we could never enlist because we're disabled and they wouldn't take us.
If we could enlist, we would've become a marine.
We made a good score on the ASVAB, high enough to have been able to enlist in any branch.
Sigh.

Youtube vlogging?
Hey everyone,
So iβm thinking about starting up a youtube channel so I can make videos all about enlisting into the military as a transgender person. And I think I want to use my little blog here as a space to keep track of the things I want to talk about in my videos and write out my thoughts as I keep moving through this process.
If thereβs anyone even reading this, I do have an update. My enlistment packet was delivered to Chicago MEPS on Thursday of last week. But because of MEPS being closed on Friday, the CMO didnβt get my packet until Monday of this current week. So Iβm not expecting to get a reply in terms of go/no-go until early next week. Iβve also had it confirmed that I am the first transgender person to be enlisting into the IL ARNG.Β
