This is from old German TV show (Alarm für Cobra 11 - Einsatz für Team 2 to be exact) and I always wondered what language is this? Is it one language? Or two different ones? Is it Japanese? Chinese? Is it some other language I don't know about because I'm a dumb European? Or complete, EU-made gibberish?
Google Translate is of no help and the rest of the tools I found are either uncertain or explicitly gen AI, which, no. I would love to offer better screens, but those are the best ones I have.

Is there anyone out there willing to help me troubleshoot why my attempts at adding hover translations to my ao3 fic aren't working? I've tried multiple tutorials, but none of them are working! This new story will have a lot more conversations as a whole being translated, not just single words, so I'd love inline translations instead of making readers scroll.
